Owned and operated by the Williams family of Ketchikan since 1972, the second and third generation publish a newspaper six days weekly, provide commercial printing, sell Ketchikan photography and maintain a variety of new media publications.
Originally established in 1934, the Daily News is located in the heart of downtown Ketchikan.
Pioneer Printing has published the Historic Ketchikan Walking Tour Map since the early 1990s.
The tour itself is maintained by Historic Ketchikan, a private, nonprofit organization that promotes economic development through historic preservation and heritage tourism, attempting to maintain the integrity of the largest percentage of historic properties in the State of Alaska.
